  1. Only the truth will make us free

  2. EXCELLENT QUOTE—I wonder how much he suspected about his own society? May the LORD bless you and keep you…..!

    • Thanks; it would be interesting to know how much was commentary on his society.

HOW TRUE HIS WORDS HAVE BECOME 😦

  4. Thank you for reading from my blog. I enjoy the quotation you selected to commemorate the death of Orwell. Orwell believed that language equated with freedom. When we lose words, we threaten living free. I have kept a hit-list of words phasing out of English: good words I wish we’d keep (such as shall and may). You help keep language alive through all your posting. Thank you!

    • Thank you very much. I appreciate the encouragement. I love good words as well. It makes writing and life much more interesting. I would be very interested in seeing your list. Great idea. God Bless! JD

  5. In some ways, he was prophetic.

  7. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about courage. In these troubling times, may we continue to claim Acts 1:16.

    • Amen!
