2013 in review

January 5, 2014

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 42,000 times in 2013. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 16 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Praise God for the success of your blog, JD. May the blessings continue!

    • All the glory goes to God. I was surprised and humbled by the numbers.

  3. OYAY, OYAY! Great job, JD! Those numbers are incredible. I’m jazzed for you. You are a great writer, and you have a great blog. And 2014 will be even better. Peace, T

  4. a visual of the impact your sharing your heart with us 🙂

looking forward to reading more and more in the coming year!

  5. Praise God for enabling you to write posts that are Christ-centered & Christ-exalting! Looking forward to more this coming year!

  6. That was fun, JD. But is this only prepared for certain blogs? I’m not sure this was done for all of us. And please tell me how you get 42,000 hits! Share your secrets!

    • Hey Michael – I have got a little behind on responding to comments. Did you find the summary for your blog? It should be on the top of the stat’s page. I don’t know how I got to 42,000 hits. The only advice that I have is to write a lot. I never get a lot of view per post. I just do a lot of posts and it sort of adds up.

      • Thanks for replying. I do see the “Summaries” link, but there’s no report like the one you posted, or was posted for your blog. I’ve seen other’s with the same, but it doesn’t seem like everyone got it. I’m not sure.

Anyhoo, I’m happy for your readership. That’s a real blessing. It couldn’t happen for a more insightful blog and thoughtful writer. Cheers.

  7. Very cool! I don’t look at my stats. It’s nice to see others successes though. Keep up the great writing. Looking forward with you to more in 2014!

  8. where does everyone find this tidbit of info from wp
