In honor of Fanny Crosby, who wrote hundreds of hymns and was blind from her youth. On this day in 1850, she sought assurance at a Methodist revival service altar and was flooded with joy, and leapt up, shouting “Hallelujah.”

I never knew of “Fanny Crosby.” Thank you for introducing her to me! How insightful she was.
I am so glad that this post introduce you to Fanny Crosby. She was an amazing lady. I am astounded by the thought that she wrote over 9,000 hymns. I understand that she started to write under pen names so that the hymnals would not be filled with her name. God gave her an amazing gift.
